Call for abstracts RSS2017
ROAD SAFETY & SIMULATION INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
The Road Safety and Simulation Conference was established in Rome in 2007. It provides a platform for researchers and professionals from various disciplines to share their expertise and present their innovative research results in the field of road safety and simulation. The RSS2017 conference will be hosted by Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) and organized in co-operation with the Dutch Institute for Road Safety Research (SWOV).
Conference Special Theme
The conference theme focuses on advancing the safety of all road users with special attention for vulnerable road users. Especially, in the upcoming era of advanced technologies and vehicle automation new safety challenges have emerged. The road infrastructure design plays a critical role in accommodating these challenges.

Call for Abstracts
We welcome abstracts on any of the conference topics, that present original research not published or presented prior to the 2017 Road Safety and Simulation Conference. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed by at least two experts.
Abstracts are limited to 1 page and should follow the template format<http://rss2017.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Abstract-Template-RSS2017.docx>.
Important dates:
* Abstract submission deadline - 1st November 2016
* Notification of abstract acceptance - 15th December 2016
* Deadline for paper submission - 15th March 2017
* Notification of paper acceptance - 1st June 2017
* Final paper due & confirmation to present - 15th July 2017
Proceedings
All conference papers will be included in the conference proceedings, to be distributed on a USB stick to all conference attendants.
