Yes, I did note my white, male bias! It needs to be someone quite senior for the keynote, but there are lots of people to choose from!

Best Wishes,

    Kath,

I was thinking much the same, but given Sarah Radcliffe's theme for the conference next year is 'decolonization' maybe we could think beyond the usual list of white, Anglo academics?

    All,

See below. It would be great to have a sexualities plenary. I think Gill Valentine has given one in the past, but Phil Hubbard? Jon Binnie? David Bell? Lynda Johnston? Larry Knopp? Michela Brown? Or even a panel session?

Also asking for a broad theme… Martin/Ryan are co-ordinating this I am sure, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity!

    Best Wishes,
    Kath

        Dear all

Professor Sarah Radcliffe, the chair of the RGS-IBG 2017 conference in London, has invited the Research Groups to contact her with comments and suggestions as to the Chair’s plenaries and theme – more details at www.rgs.org/AC2017. If you have any suggestions do let me know and we can recommend them as a group.

Please send any names to me by the end of October.

        Thanks
        Jenny
