Dear SNoMS members
Please see below; further to the earlier reminder, please also be aware that travel bursaries can be applied for by postgraduate speakers regardless of whether they are currently members of BAMS (although BAMS membership offers a reduced registration fee). Postgraduate SNoMS members are encouraged to attend, and SNoMS has made a contribution towards the travel bursary for attendance by a postgraduate member.
With all best wishes
Maria
This is a reminder that there is one week to go before the deadline for proposals for NWiMS 2016 on Tuesday 1 November 2016.
The sixth one-day Graduate Conference on New Work in Modernist Studies will take place on 10 December 2016 at Queen Mary University of London, in conjunction with Modernist Network Cymru (MONC), the London Modernism Seminar, the Scottish Network of Modernist Studies, the Northern Modernism Seminar, and the British Association for Modernist Studies (BAMS).
Proposals are invited, from PhD research students registered at British universities, for short (10 minutes maximum) research position papers. Your proposal should be no longer than 250 words, and please include with it a short (50 words) biography. It should be sent to [log in to unmask] to which any other enquiries about the conference should also be addressed. It is anticipated that a subsidized contribution to all travel costs over £20 will be offered to all postgraduates who contribute to the conference. Please include a separate indication of your estimated travel costs with your proposal.
Everyone is welcome to attend the conference. The fee is £25 (£15 BAMS members) including tea/coffee, lunch and a wine reception. You can register here: http://eshop.qmul.ac.uk/browse/extra_info.asp?compid=1&modid=2&deptid=34&catid=1&prodid=662
Best wishes
Suzanne
