Mitie are currently looking to recruit a Records Administrator on a Fixed Term Basis to join our records management team based in Leeds. Salary is £19380 - £21000 based on skills and experience
Reporting to the Disposition Team Leader, the Records Administrator is responsible for working on the records destruction programme and retrospective records cataloguing projects.
Job Details
•Comparing large datasets
•Carrying out due diligence checks
•Requesting samples of records from offsite storage to identify contents and retention dates
•Some retrospective cataloguing of files to ensure correct retention rules are applied
•Seeking destruction authorisations via email and saving evidence in agreed format
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
•Strong Excel skills
•Methodical working process
•Organisational skills
•IT literate
•Experience of working with databases
•Ability to work independently
•Strong verbal and written communication
•A Records/Information Management qualification would be a distinct advantage
