The evening of unforgettable culture and discussion starts with a special one-off showing of the play Vultures: A Brief History of International Debt and its Consequences in which costumes, puppets and vultures are a plenty in this a cripy fairytale which will portray the functionings of the global debt system in a way that you have never seen before.
Then we hand over the stage to our guest speaker Alan Cibils, Professor of Economics at the Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento, Buenos Aires who will deliver a talk on Argentina’s external debt in recent history and growing state indebtedness under the current Cambiemos government.
Proceedings will continue with what will surely be a lively debate from the floor.
