Dear Colleagues,
We are very pleased to announce the winners of two prizes to be awarded by the Division of Chemical Physics at March 2017 meeting of the American Physical Society. Emily Carter, the winner of the Irving Langmuir Prize in Chemical Physics, will give a talk on her prize-winning research at this meeting entitled “In the Footsteps of Irving: Physical Chemistry in Service of Society.” Albert Stolow, the winner of the Earle K. Plyler Prize for Molecular Spectroscopy and Dynamics, will give a talk on his work entitled "The Three Pillars of Ultrafast Molecular Science: Time, Phase, Intensity."
We invite you to join us at the March meeting to honor these two eminent scientists. This meeting will take place in New Orleans, March 13-17, 2017. We also encourage you to contribute a talk at this meeting. The deadline for submitting an abstract is November 11, 2017.
