We have a part-time vacancy for a Copyright and Digital Resources Advisor at University of the Arts London.
The role
Your main task will be to implement procedures for copyright compliance in line with current legislation and to act as a first point of contact for copyright licence related enquiries from library staff and course teams. You will be responsible for providing guidance on the uses of visual images and social media, copyright support for compliant use of the University’s virtual learning environment, in addition to developing and communicating training programmes, maintaining and monitoring copyright notices. You will also provide support for document supply activities.
Your profile
You will be educated to a Degree or equivalent qualification level, preferably in Library or Information Studies or related subject areas. You will be well-versed in UK copyright legislation and intellectual property rights and be able to demonstrate administrative skills and experience in a Higher Education context or within the creative fields. Your expertise in copyright will be complimented by your ability to collaborate as well as work independently, in a fulfilling, creative environment.
