Dear Scholars,
We warmly invite you to submit abstracts for the upcoming International Conference on Tourism, Ethics and Global Citizenship: Connecting the Dots, which will take place on 3-6 July 2017 at Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. The conference aims to strengthen the academic and professional networks that are necessary to push forward the discussions of tourism’s manifold intersections with existing and emergent ethical approaches and forms of citizenship, and to discuss these concepts to apply new insights in our research, policy documents and daily practices. The conference will host keynote presentations by several prominent scholars in the field, including Claudio Minca, Clare Weeden, Raoul Bianchi and Angela Benson. Please see the attached announcement or visit our website for more information: www.saxion.nl/ctd. Deadline for abstract submission is December 1, 2016.
To make the most of your trip you might also wish to attend the Critical Tourist Studies conference (25-29 June 2017) - a good starting point for critical and hopeful dialogues about tourism contexts, moralities, knowledges, the world and the self. For more information please visit their website: www.criticaltourismstudies.info.
We would greatly appreciate it if you would distribute this message and the attached document (pdf) to scholars who might be interested in the topics. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us at [log in to unmask]
Thank you for your time and consideration and we look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
The Conference Committee
