Dear all,
I have had a bit of a problem dating the short story "Wenn die Haifische Menschen wären...", which is part of Brecht's "Geschichten von Herrn Keuner". I somehow had thought - probably erroneously - that Brecht wrote most of these stories before he went into exile (i.e. before the Nazis came to power), but I found a very old article online by Die Zeit saying that he wrote some of the stories a lot later. In this particular story there are some parts that I think could be interpreted slightly different depending on whether it was written before or after WWII. As this is not really my area of expertise, I was wondering if anybody could kindly shed some light on this.
Best wishes and many thanks,
Alex
