Dear AGS members,
Following the AGS Annual Conference in Newcastle, the committee would like to invite nominations for the new role of Schools Networking Officer on the AGS committee. The role description can be found at the end of this e-mail.
The committee welcomes nominations from across the membership, as it seeks to represent geographical and institutional variation across Great Britain and Ireland, as well as to encourage gender diversity and avoid a stereotypical gender distribution of roles.
Please consider whether you would be interested in either taking on this post or nominating a colleague. Nominations should be sent to me by 31 October, in the form of a single email containing the names of 2 nominating AGS members per nominee and a brief statement of suitability (150 words max.) written by the nominee. If the committee receives more than one nomination then AGS members will be invited to vote by email.
Best wishes,
Dora
