You are invited to submit a paper for consideration. All accepted papers
will be published by IEEE CPS (+ IEEE Xplore) in the proceedings of The
2016 International Conference on Computational Science and Computational
Intelligence (CSCI). The proceedings will be indexed in science citation
databases that track citation frequency/data. Extended versions of
selected papers of the conference will also appear in journals and
edited research books. The published proceedings can be accessed via
IEEE CPS and other Digital libraries.

FEATURED KEYNOTE SPEAKER:

CSCI'16 International Conference is composed of a number of symposiums,
sessions, workshops, posters and panel discussions; all will be held
simultaneously, same location and dates: December 15-17, 2016. There
will be a number of Invited Lectures - This year's Featured Keynote
   Lecture will be delivered by:
      Dr. Erik Katsavounidis
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA, USA
Member of the Laser Interferometer Gravitational wave Observatory
(LIGO - operated jointly by Caltech, https://www.caltech.edu/ and
      MIT http://www.mit.edu/ )

SCOPE AND LIST OF TOPICS:

The 2016 CSCI International Conference invites paper submissions from
diverse communities, including researchers from: universities,
corporations, government agencies, and standardization bodies. Papers
are sought that address solutions to problems in all areas of
computational science and computational intelligence.

Computational Science is the study of addressing problems that are
impossible to solve (or difficult to solve) without computers. The field
is interdisciplinary by nature and includes the use of advanced
computing capabilities to understand and solve complex problems. In
short, Computational Science is the science of using computers to do
science. Computational Intelligence is the study of computational methods
in ways that exhibit intelligence. These methods adapt to changing
environments and changing goals.

Considering the above broad outline, the International Conference on
Computational Science and Computational Intelligence (CSCI'16) is
inviting paper submissions for the following research and technical
tracks (the web site for each symposium provides a detailed scope and
a list of topics) - see:

O. Symposium on Big Data and Data Science (CSCI-ISBD)
    http://americancse.org/events/csci2016/Symposiums/csci-isbd
O. Symposium on Internet of Things & Internet of Everything (CSCI-ISOT)
    http://americancse.org/events/csci2016/Symposiums/csci-isot
O. Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Computing and Computational
    Science (CSCI-ISPD)
    http://americancse.org/events/csci2016/Symposiums/csci-ispd

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF PAPERS FOR EVALUATION:

All accepted papers of all symposiums will be published by IEEE CPS:
   http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/services/comp_society.html
as part of the proceedings of The 2016 International Conference on
Computational Science and Computational Intelligence (CSCI'16). Past
year's CSCI proceedings are indexed into IEEE Xplore Digital Library and
   can be accessed via:
   Volume I (2014): http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/tocresult.jsp?isnumber=6822065
   Volume II (2014): http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/tocresult.jsp?isnumber=6822285
   Volume (2015): http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/mostRecentIssue.jsp?punumber=7420813
and via ACM Digital Library at: http://dl.acm.org/

Papers should be typeset by using the general typesetting instructions
   available at:
   http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
(i.e., use of regular Times New Roman, font size of 10, single line
spacing, 2-column format). Authors of accepted papers will later receive
more specific typesetting instructions. All submissions must be original
(papers must not have been previously published or currently being
   considered by others for publication).

Submissions must be in either MS doc or pdf formats (6 pages for Regular
Research Papers; 4 pages for Short Papers; 2 pages for Poster Papers -
the number of pages include all figures, tables, and references).

The first page of the paper should include the followings:
   - Title of the paper
   - Name, affiliation, postal address, and email address of each author
(identify the name of the Contact Author)
   - Abstract (between 100 and 120 words)
   - A maximum of 5 topical keywords that would best represent the work
     described in the paper
   - Write the type of the submission as "Full/Regular Research Paper",
     "Short Paper", or "Poster Paper"
   - Write the acronym of the most relevant symposium that this paper
is being submitted to (Acronyms are: CSCI-ISBD, CSCI-ISOT, and
     CSCI-ISPD).
   - The actual text of the paper can start from the first page (space
     permitting).

Submissions are to be uploaded to the submission/evaluation web
   site portal at:
   http://american-cse.org/

TYPE OF SUBMISSIONS/PAPERS:

  - Full/Regular Research Papers (maximum of 6 pages):
Regular Research Papers should provide detail original research
contributions. They must report new research results that represent
a contribution to the field; sufficient details and support for
the results and conclusions should also be provided. The work
presented in regular papers are expected to be at a stage of
maturity that with some additional work can be published as journal
    papers.

  - Short Papers (maximum of 4 pages):
Short papers report on ongoing research projects. They should provide
overall research methodologies with some results. The work presented
in short papers are expected to be at a stage of maturity that with
some additional work can be published as regular papers.

  - Poster Papers (maximum of 2 pages):
Poster papers report on ongoing research projects that are still in
their infancy (i.e., at very early stages). Such papers tend to
provide research methodologies without yet concrete results.

REVIEW PROCESS

Each paper will be peer-reviewed by 2 to 4 peers (except for papers that
are philosophical in nature - such papers would be considered for panel
discussions.) Confidentiality of submitted material will be maintained.
Papers will be evaluated on the basis of originality, impact,
significance, quality of research, quality of writing, and contribution
to conference program and diversity. Papers whose authors include one
or more members of the program committee will be evaluated using the
   double-blinded review process.

DEADLINES - DATES:

October 24, 2016: (11:59pm US Eastern Time Zone) Extended Submission of Papers
   November 02, 2016: Notification of acceptance (+/- 2 days)
November 12, 2016: Final papers and Registration for Authors of
                         Accepted Papers
December 15-17, 2016: Symposium on Big Data and Data Science (CSCI-ISBD) +
Symposium on Internet of Things & Internet of
                         Everything (CSCI-ISOT) +
Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Computing and
                         Computational Science (CSCI-ISPD).
All the above research and technical tracks together with
affiliated tracks form The 2016 International Conference
on Computational Science and Computational Intelligence
(CSCI'16: Las Vegas, USA). These tracks will be held
simultaneously (i.e., same location and dates) facilitating
                         increased opportunities for cross-fertilization across
                         sub-disciplines.
