YBP Library Services (YBP), a division of EBSCO Information Services, has partnered with Talis to bring more choice and increased efficiencies, for course reading list driven library acquisitions and collection development.
This partnership makes the integration between YBP and Talis Aspire, already in use at many Australasian universities, available now to our shared customers in the UK. Customers who use Talis Aspire workflows and data to inform their acquisitions strategy can now seamlessly, and at scale, acquire the right content in the right format, directly from YBP.
"YBP's biggest strength has always been choice, and as a division of EBSCO, we have further strengthened our offerings especially in the e-book space," said Paul Donovan, Senior Vice President of Sales for Europe, Oceania, Sub-Saharan Africa & Latin America . "Our integration with Talis Aspire has already been delivering value to many of our mutual customers in Australia and New Zealand. Through our partnership with Talis, we can now bring these benefits to the UK, and explore more ways to extend how we work together."
YBP and Talis will explore further enhancements and integration to support the greater choice, efficiencies and value that customers seek, as they ensure students can access the right course materials from Talis Aspire.
"It is an important step to extend our relationship with YBP and to welcome them to our growing partner programme. We recognise the need for customer choice and for Talis Aspire to integrate seamlessly with other best of breed services" said Mark Bush, Head of Commercial Development at Talis. "We look forward to working further with YBP for the benefit of our growing shared customers across Europe and Asia-Pacific."
