Hi,
We have are trying to set up off-site access our journals using EZproxy (which is new to me) and SFX, but are getting some unexpected behaviour, so wondered if I could pick the brains of other organisations which have already got this set-up.
One of my computing colleagues has installed and set up our EZproxy server. I have put the EZproxy details into SFX and selected "Selective" as the option thinking that this would mean that when staff were on-site our IPs would be recognised and bypass EZproxy, yet when they were off-site they would be asked to sign into EZproxy then passed on to the journals. For some journals this is working as anticipated, but for others the EZproxy login appears even when we are on site. Any suggestions as to what is causing this or where the problem lies (in SFX? Or in EZproxy?)
Kind regards
Patti
