I don’t have enough experience of Philips scanners to know what information you can get from the scanner on this. Maybe some philips users out there know?
BUT, in most cases you dont actually need to get it right and can just use for example 0.05. The times you need to get it right is when you combine “traditional” fieldmaps with for example eddy, or when you have data with differing readout times.
If all you want to do is to run topup on a pair of b0 scans with opposing PE-directions and then pass the information into eddy along with dwi scans that have been acquired with the same parameters, then I suggest you use 0.05.
