Dear colleagues,
We hereby announce the Call for Commission Panels by IUAES Commissions
for the IUAES 2017 Inter-Congress in Ottawa, Canada, to be held jointly
with CASCA, the Canadian Anthropology Society. This is to give priority
to the panels proposed and organized by IUAES Commissions (including
IUAES-Tourism) before we open the Call for Panels on the web for all
participants of the Inter-Congress. Please refer to the webpage of the

theme, “Movement”:____

All proposals in anthropology, however, even those not directly related
to the above sub-themes are welcome. Please be ready with:____
Title of the Commission panel____
A short abstract of 300 characters____
A long abstract of 250 words____
Names/affiliations/email addresses of the panel convener____
Names/affiliations/email addresses of the panel co-conveners (We
recommend to have the panel co-conveners from different institutions and
different countries.)____
Names/affiliations/email addresses of paper presenters (if you have
already decided on paper presenters)____
Whether the panel is closed or open to additional presenters____

The Call for Panels officially opened on August 22nd and will close on
October 28th.
If you have an idea for a panel and would like to have it endorsed by
IUAES-Tourism, please get in touch with us at your earliest convenience
(the deadline is October 1st).
