Hi - I have a PPI analysis with two conditions “remember” and “forget” - with the seed region in RDLPFC. For Forget > Remember, I’ve identified a cluster in the R hippocampus as one region that shows greater connectivity to RDLPFC. My question is how to interpret this. My original GLM identified R hippocampus as a regions that shows greater activity during Remember > Forget contrast - and the RDLPFC as a region with greater activity during Forget> Remember. I originally wanted to use PPI to see whether there is increased NEGATIVE relationship between DLPFC and hippocampus during the forget condition. Would increased connectivity between the target (hippocampus) and seed region (DLPFC) found in the PPI, combined with the fact that a similar R hippocampus cluster is identified with the R>F contrast in the GLM be sufficient to imply increased NEGATIVE relationship? I feel that I might be missing something here.
Thank you!
