In a previous life we too used the accelerated course and found our non-responders grew so we went back to the original method.

I work in a large acute nhs trust and we undertake the rapid schedule for all staff.
we found the majority of our staff did not return to have their 3rd hep b even with reminders from ourselves.
Getting information from the Drug Companies found only a slight decrease in antibody response He decided to treat everybody the same in regard to all staff having the same hep b schedule as it would be easier to manage rather than giving various staff groups different schedules.
In reality worked very well, have an excellent uptake of the vaccines now including the 4th dose. We still do titre levels at 8 weeks after the 3rd vaccine to ensure we know what we are working with.
