Dear All,
The East Asian Journal of Popular Culture is planning to run a focused edition on Censorship and East Asian Media. We are interested in papers that engage with all forms of censorship across East Asia and in cross-comparison papers between East Asian and South East Asia. We are open to all forms of media but we are primarily interested in case studies from 2000 onwards.
We would required 350 word abstract by January 2017 with the full papers (7000 words) to be submitted by September 2017. The expected publication date would be April 2019 (so yes, for those in the UK it will be in time for REF!). All work must be original and will be put through a process of double blind-peer review.
For those interested please email [log in to unmask]
best
