Can't say I've seen much in the way of offensive responses, but I
wouldn't say the others are 'trolling' on a site intended for discussion
amongst '...people interested in external examining issues".
Personally I go back to my stance from the last time this debate came
up: split into two lists: one for ads, one for discussion, both with an
opt-out facility.
Otherwise (as is increasingly happening-thank you all) make sure the
title line states whether it's an EE post and the subject or that it's a
comment/discussion point.
BTW: are you supposed to EE at four institutions: don't the JISC
guidelines (3.2) limit this to two?
