On the other hand, playing devil's advocate:
1. Although could be better worded I would interpret the consent they have as covering this ("allowing ... to contact ... for this purpose"). Agree cannot see why no copy provided to make it clear but seems doubtful they are lying.
2. Why would condition 6 not suffice anyway? Legitimate interest and hard to see any unwarranted prejudice. May be a bit weak on necessity though ...
