Job Opportunity – Imaging Operator
The National Archives is the UK government's official archive, containing over 1,000 years of history. It provides detailed guidance to government departments and the public sector on information management and advises others about the care of historical archives.
The National Archives operates an internal department responsible for the creation of digitised content. The majority of the work is completed using a range of digital capture equipment and bespoke workstations within a production environment. Operators are trained in equipment use and document handling to produce high quality images whilst protecting the integrity of the documents themselves.
