GARNet are delighted to host a meeting entitled 'Natural variation as a
tool for gene discovery and crop improvement' which will take place on
December 12-13th 2016 at Gonville and Caius College in Cambridge.
David Salt and Ian Henderson are the academics leads for the meeting and
have assembled a world leading programme of speakers across 8 plenary
sessions. In addition we will host an evening poster session.
The primary aim of the meeting is to encourage productive discussions
between all attendees so Gonville and Caius will host the conference
dinner on the evening of December 12th, which is included in the price
of registration.
Gonville and Caius has rooms available for attendees on a first-come
first-serve basis and we encourage delegates to stay at the college,
which will facilitate further productive discussions.
Registration is now open and as there is a cap on the number of
attendees that the conference venue can host, we encourage early
registration.
Due to generous support from the Journal of Experimental Biology, PacBio
and BioNano we are able to offer grants to cover the travel and
accommodation of UK-based PDRA and PhD students, once again available on
a first-come first-serve basis.
Please contact Geraint ([log in to unmask]) for more
information about these grants or if you have any other questions about
the meeting.
