The European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI) and the UK Farr Institute of Health Informatics Research invite you to submit scientific contributions to Informatics for Health 2017.
Informatics for Health brings together the 28th Medical Informatics Europe Conference (MIE2017) from EFMI and the 2017 Farr Institute International Conference. It will be held in Manchester, UK, April 24 to 26, 2017, with a pre-conference tutorial programme from 22-23 April 2017.
The conference will cover a broad range of topics in health information technology, data science, population health informatics, learning health systems, and connected health. These topics are addressed from the perspectives of patients, health professionals, service providers, and the public alike.
We invite you to submit contributions to share your latest achievements in biomedical and health informatics. We expect papers on the role of information in optimising prevention, diagnosis and treatment, and on how big data analytics and data science methods can advance healthcare. We encourage contributions about methodologies and applications, success stories, but also lessons learned and surprises from completed or on-going projects.
The Informatics for Health 2017 programme will contain presentations of abstracts, short papers, posters, workshops, panels, as well as interactive demonstrations related to the following topics:

Accepted papers will be published by IOS Press in their series “Studies in Health Technology and Informatics” and indexed in MEDLINE/PubMed, SciVerse Scopus, EMCare, Book Citation Index – Science and Thomson Reuters’ Conference Proceedings Citation Index. Accepted abstracts and all other accepted submissions will be made available to conference delegates only. Both paper and abstract submissions can be accepted as an oral presentation.
