Here's a list of museums with Instagram accounts, from Wikidata:
http://query.wikidata.org/#SELECT%20%3Fitem%20%3FitemLabel%20%3Finstagram%20WHERE%20%7B%0A%20%20%3Fitem%20wdt%3AP31%2Fwdt%3AP279%2A%20wd%3AQ33506%20.%0A%20%20%3Fitem%20wdt%3AP2003%20%3Finstagram%20.%0A%20%20SERVICE%20wikibase%3Alabel%20%7B%20bd%3AserviceParam%20wikibase%3Alanguage%20%22en%22%20%7D%20.%0A%7D
aka:
https://is.gd/IfqoZC
(hit "run" to compile the up-to-date list). Wikidata is a sister
project to Wikipedia, run by the same people along the same lines, but
holding open, linked data. There is a Wikidata item for everything
that has a Wikipedia article, in any language, but also much more
besides.
There should be a Wikidata item about every museum; for instance, here
is the item about the British Museum:
https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q6373
on which you can see the kinds of data stored on Wikidata, for museums
If there is an item about your museum, you can add the name of your
Instagram account, using the property "P2003". If there isn't, why not
create one? Let me know if you get stuck.
I write a monthly column about Wikidata, for Wikipedia's "this month
in GLAM" newsletter, which you can subscribe to on Wikipedia, or by
RSS:
https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/GLAM/Newsletter
and am happy to answer questions about Wikdiata, or to speak at
events, or post more here if that would be of interest.
