collaborative urban research applicants for the RMIT Vice-Chancellor’s
Research Fellowships and Senior Research Fellowships

scheme. The fellowships are for four years duration and are expected to
focus on major global research problems with high potential for impact on
policy and practice.
The Centre for Urban Research <http://cur.org.au/> was established in 2012
and draws together RMIT’s leading researchers in multidisciplinary urban
studies, including urban transport. As a thriving research group CUR has
established a strong reputation via publications and award of fellowships
and grants and is actively involved in major theoretical and policy debates
about urban problems within Australia and globally. The Centre hosts the
active and engaged Planning and Transport in City Regions research program

.
The CUR is located at RMIT’s city campus in the core of Melbourne, a city
which enjoys a reputation as the world’s ‘most liveable’

The Centre enjoys strong collaborative links with colleagues at other local
institutions and is internationally networked including via the RMIT Europe

Sustainability and Urban Planning teaching program within the School of
