The UK Debt Management Office, an executive agency of HM Treasury, has a three-month vacancy for a records management assistant to work full time in the small Information Assurance team, salary £21,000 pro rata.
The records management assistant will contribute to a large-scale review of offsite records, updating catalogue entries and working with the Information Assurance team to suggest appropriate disposition actions and to coordinate the delivery and return of records.
You will be educated to degree level and have some experience within an information management/records management/archives role. Some cataloguing experience would be highly desirable. You will demonstrate good attention to detail, an organised, methodical approach, the ability to work effectively as part of a small team and strong self-motivation.
Although not designed to be a pre-course training post, this role would be suited to someone interested in a career in records management, seeking pre-course experience.
