* Annual report 2015-16, including a statistical overview and reflection on common areas for future development seen across the archives sector: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documents/archives/annual-report-2016-on-uk-applications-and-awards-for-archive-service-accreditation.pdf
* Updated Guidance document, with some small amendments including increasing digital examples in Module 3: Stakeholders and their Experiences, and referencing the ARA statement on internships, published since the previous guidance iteration: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documents/archives/archive-service-accreditation-guidance-2016.pdf
* Updated Scalability to reflect the Public Sector Information Regulations 2015 as statutory provision affecting local authority and other public sector-scaled archive services: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documents/archives/archive-service-accreditation-scalability-2016.pdf
* Panel dates for 2017 are now published: please use these in planning your application timing in consultation with your home nations assessor body: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/archives-sector/archive-service-accreditation/award-of-archive-service-accreditation/
We hope these updates are of wider interested within the archives sector, reflecting on the challenges, strengths and future needs of archives of many types and sizes. We would be interested to hear of how they are being used: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
The Committee minutes also thank by name those who supported the programme as peer reviewers in the 2015-16 assessment rounds. A further opportunity to train as a peer reviewer and join us in supporting sector-wide improvement will be advertised shortly.
Best wishes,
Melinda
