Anthropology + Architecture Network (A+A)
http://www.anthropology-and-architecture.net/ <http://www.anthropology-and-architecture.net/>
What is it?
Bringing together anthropologists engaging with architects and architecture in a variety of forms and contexts, A+A facilitates new collaborations and encounters, strengthening the impact of anthropological knowledge within the domain of the built environment.
Our aim is to build the network along these avenues:
Research: present latest thinking and research (draft papers, reports, proposals, etc.) as well as discuss and share relevant readings
Collaborations: explore areas for future collaborations, e.g. workshops, conference panels, project and consultancy work, publications, exhibitions
Sharing: exchange relevant information about events and opportunities such as CfPs, films, book launches, exhibitions, conferences, funding opportunities, etc.
First meet-up:
To discuss initial ideas and to build the network, we are organising a meet-up:
When? 6 September 2016 at 7pm
Where? Upstairs in the The Marquis Cornwallis, 31 Marchmont Street, London, WC1N 1AP
Please just turn up! We will have regular meet-ups after that.
If you can’t attend but are interested in the network, let us know:
