Dear all,
On behalf of Mattering Press, we are delighted to share the good news
that last month our first four books were published
(https://www.matteringpress.org/news/first-four-books-available-buy-and-download)!
As many of you know, Mattering Press is a new open access STS book
publisher: it is an ongoing experiment in knowledge making and
distribution. If you are attending next week's 4S/EASST meeting in
Barcelona, you're most welcome to come by our stall, have a look at our
books, and chat to us about the ins and outs of academic book publishing.
We'd also like to draw your attention to a lunchtime session about
recent changes in the STS publishing landscape, organised jointly by
Demonstrations (http://ojs.gold.ac.uk/index.php/demonstrations/),
Libraria (http://libraria.cc/), and Mattering Press. The discussion, to
be chaired by Tim Elfenbein, will start at 12.45pm on Thursday, the 1st
September, in Room 118.
Looking forward to seeing many of you next week!
With best wishes,
Endre (& the Mattering Press team)
