As part of continued substantial investment in Statistics, Lancaster
University has Anniversary Lecturer posts in the area of Statistics/Data
Science. Applications are particularly encouraged from researchers
working on developing novel statistical methods for any of: time-series,
online inference, or inference for networks and structured data.
These positions come with no teaching/admin duties for the first two years.
The Anniversary Lecturer Scheme is designed to identify academic leaders
of the future and will operate for five years. At the end of the scheme,
subject to satisfactory performance, you will be assimilated on to the
appropriate academic contract. The expectation of the scheme is that it
will attract the highest calibre of applicants who will fulfil their
potential to become Readers or Chairs within 5 years.
