[Apologies for cross-posting]
Dear Colleagues,
We are very pleased to announce the forthcoming Lyon Active inference
Workshop (LAW 2016) to be held between October 12 and 14 this year.
This international workshop is meant to gather experts as well as
students and young researchers in the field of computational and
experimental neurosciences interested in the application of Bayesian
methods to unravel brain functions. A particular focus will be given to
the recent generic framework of Active inference.
A first day will be devoted to an introduction to Bayesian modelling,
computational neurosciences and active inference (on Oct. 12). The two
following days will present talks describing very recent advances in the
field. It will also leave space for unformal discussions.
Registration is now open. This event is free for people who belong to
the organizing institutions (LabEx CORTEX and PACE European network).
However, registration is mandatory as space will be limited to 150
participants.
Thanks to the sponsoring from those two institutions, registration fee
for other participants is 60 euros (be it for 2 or 3 days, including
social events). Note that registration will be validated on a first come
first serve basis, although priority will be given to CORTEX and PACE
member.
Please pre-register as soon as possible by following this link which
also contains additional information including a provisional program:

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Lyon.
Best regards,
