The School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences invites you to apply for a permanent Lectureship in Environmental Management at Plymouth University.
We are looking to appoint a lecturer to contribute to a new programme in Environmental Management, as well as to our existing provision within Geography and Environmental Science (which includes MSc Environmental Consultancy). These subject areas comprise some 38 full-time academic staff, and enjoy excellent support from well-resourced laboratory facilities. We also have strong academic links across the institution with, for example, the University’s cross-disciplinary Marine and Sustainable Earth institutes.
You will have a track record of excellent research, commensurate with the level of appointment, and compatible with REF UoAs 7 or 17. You will be an enthusiastic team player, and your enthusiasm for your subject will extend to providing excellent teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, informed by rigorous scholarship and your own research experience. You will benefit from a positive and collegiate working environment that values and promotes excellence in all academic activities.
