Thank you to everyone who responded to the below request for examples of KPIs for Information Literacy.
The replies I received mainly fell into three categories:
Offer Info Lit:
• We aim to make information literacy training available for every student
Satisfaction with the session measured by questionnaire / student comments:
• % of positive responses to the question - Do you think what you’ve learned on the session today will be useful to you in the future?
• 80% of attendees should be either 'Very Satisfied' or 'Satisfied' with the session.
• % of responses where students felt more confident about learning outcomes, post intervention
Percentage of courses Info Lit embedded within:
• 70% of taught students are provided with information literacy embedded or integrated into their curriculum during their course of study.
• % of academic departments that have integrated skills development
• % of all programmes with an embedded academic skills intervention (non-partner delivery)
We have decided to go with the final one and we are now just deciding what we mean by the term 'embedded', whether we want to monitor at student or course level and doing an audit of our current position so we know what % figure we should be aiming for.
Our final draft will look something like this:
% of campus based students provided with information literacy embedded into their curriculum at level 4 and at their dissertation level
Thanks again everyone

Hi everyone
Can I pick your brains. We are considering changing our KPI on Information Literacy and I was wondering whether you would be willing to share yours to give us some inspiration. Our current one is "Information literacy session offered to all campus based students in first year and at their dissertation level". We always achieve 100% due to only needing to 'offer'. We would like to have a more meaningful one if possible so some inspiration from yourselves would be brilliant. I am happy to collate responses for the list :-)
Many thanks
Davina
