Registration includes free access to all concerts, and the film screening, at the conference.
Highlights include:
- keynotes from Ingrid Monson and Tony Whyton
- Peter Wiegold Quintet, performance of their Miles Davis re-working
- over 30 papers and lecture-recitals discussing history, legacy, performance, analysis, and culture of Davis and Coltrane, including a panel on 'Late Miles'
- evening concert by the Ronnie Scott's All Stars Quintet
- evening concert by the Gary Crosby Quartet (Coltrane, 'A Love Supreme' re-envisioned), preceded by interview with Alyn Shipton for BBC's 'Jazz Now'
- workshop and concert by the Steve Waterman Quartet, 'Tribute to Miles'
- screening of 'Miles Ahead'
