Hi
Many thanks
The guidance now states councils
Should look elsewhere other than gPs to undertake these assessments and as such this work is being included in new OH tenders from councils.

If they are required to drive as part of their job role then it is likely that DVLA sign off would be sufficient in my opinion. However if there is a specific risk associated with their role then that should be assessed on an individual basis and in line with the role and the risks associated with it. To blanket ask for OH assessments on all Blue Badge holders regardless of risk could potentially, again in my opinion be a breach of Equality Legislation.
