Dear Anderson,
Thank you very much for the detailed answer. Please I have a follow up questions.
1. what is the minimum number of volumes that can keep the runs of fMRI data valid for analysis. For example if I have 10 volumes for one of the runs can I include these volumes in the analysis.
2. If I have one run for a subject. Am I still able to include this subject in the analysis.
3. If the number of the runs is not equal between the subjects ( e.g some subjects have one run, other 2 some others 5 runs). Can this affect the quality of the analysis 9 i.e. bias the analysis). In other words if the number of the runs is not equal can FEAT deal with this issue.
Thank you very much for your help

Hi Jon,

Dear experts,
I have a list of subjects. Every subject has multiple runs of bold data, in this data:
1. The number of the volumes is different between the subject. e.g. for some subjects the total number of volumes 110 and for the rest 90
This is fine.
2. The TR is different between the subjects. For some subjects the TR is 3000 and for the rest 2000
This can be a problem, although the treatments that can be offered at the stage of the group statistics will have to do with different means and variances, which FEAT can handle. Consider setting the "Group" column as 1 for subjects with one TR and 2 for the other, and make sure that the design is "separable" (if it isn't, it will give an error message with an explanation as soon as the different groups are set).
All the best,
Anderson
Can these fmri data be analyzed together in the same data set using feat?
Thanks
Jon
