Thank you for the fast replies.
I will answer the questions and things I tried more precisely.
Yes, for my first level every participant has also 4 blocks
(Modality1/Session1, Modality1/Session2, Modality2/Session1, Modality2/Session2)
and I want to test the contrast (Modality1 vs. Modality2).
So let's say a contrast liek this:
Modality1/Session1 Modality1/Session2 Modality2/Session1 Modality2/Session2
Onset Miss move1 .... move6 Onset Miss move1 .... move6 Onset Miss move1 .... move6 Onset Miss move1 .... move6
1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 -1 0 0 0 -1 0 0 0
For the first-level analysis with also works out for the participants, and I have the con-images I need.
And then in the second-level analysis, if I take con_0001 of every participant and want to run a 1-sample t-test with it, the error occurs during the model estimation.
Someone also replied that I have to check the masks from the first level whether they are overlapping.
I also did that and the are overlapping and nothing is cutoff at teh front or back of the brain (I tried it with 2 participants, so by pure visual inspection you can see that there was overlap)
