Subject: Re: Story apps
I have a Ph D student whose topic is Story Apps. She's done a lot of work on the terminology for these. I'll forward your message to her and she should get back to you. She moved to the US last Friday so I suppose it depends on how quickly she gets her internet sorted how soon she responds.
Thanks for your sympathy! Not much consolation but Scotland voted to remain!

Dear all,
Does anyone know of any consensus on how we name narrative apps for children? Sometimes they are based on films, like 'The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore'. Sometimes on fairy tales...
Are any of the following acceptable -
Story apps, storytelling apps, digital picturebooks???
Is there any agreement on terminology? I'd be grateful for advice.
Such sad stories emerging from the UK right now...
Janice
