Dear Colleagues,
A PhD position is available from September 2016 at the University of Nantes (France) in the field of computational chemistry/biology and/or Bioinformatics.
The aim of this PhD thesis is to design new modulators of Interleukin-15 interfaces using multi-scaling approaches (docking, MD simulations, QM/MM).
The candidate will regularly be in close interaction with organic chemists and biologists.
The PhD project falls within a regional program focusing on protein-protein interactions.
Applicant profile:
----------------------
This project, interdisciplinary according to the nature of the tools used and its applications, will be
based on a large panel of theoretical chemistry and molecular modeling methodologies (quantum
mechanics, mixed QM/QM’ or QM/MM, docking, molecular dynamics). The position is suitable for
candidates with a background in physical chemistry, chemistry, bioinformatics or structural biology. The
candidate should have a strong interest in subjects at the interface of chemistry or/and biology
