There are only ten days left to register for the 26th Annual Screen Studies Conference, which takes place at the University of Glasgow, Fri 24th - Sun 26th June, 2016.
The student fee is again £95. This includes entrance to all conference talks, lunches and refreshments over the weekend and a wine reception.
For our opening plenary session we are delighted to have keynote papers presented by Chris Berry (King's College London) and Stephen Teo (Nanyang Technological University), whose extensive work on Asian cinemas has been formative in the field. Equally formative in television studies has been the work of Lynn Spigel (Northwestern University), who will deliver the closing keynote. As well as panels covering a wide range of topics in screen studies, our programme includes workshops featuring short presentations/provocations on the subject of film festivals, videographic research and radical film cultures.
