A small, focused workshop aimed at business leaders, senior editorial staff, publishing directors and managing directors who are involved in the process of buying or selling assets. This event is very specialised and only runs on an occasional basis. The programme covers:

* Due diligence: the detail
* The Sale and Purchase Agreement: detail.
The workshop leaders have a wealth of relevant experience and bring both broker and legal perspectives to the course.
* Natalina Bertoli, Managing Partner at Bertoli Mitchell, has over 20 years' mergers and acquisitions experience and has worked on the successful completion of over 100 transactions.
* Richard Lane, leads a team of lawyers at Farrer & Co LLP who act for a number of publishing clients across the STM section (including societies) and holds an MBA from London Business School.
* Philip Shaw, also from Bertoli Mitchell, is an Associate who has worked on a range of transactions and other assignments for clients encompassing learned societies, commercial publishers and recent start-ups. Philip is also an Associate Lecturer at the Oxford International Centre for Publishing Studies.
