ALPSP Awards for Innovation in Publishing 2016
#alpspawards
The ALPSP Awards celebrate the fast pace of change and exciting new developments in the industry. It's time to submit your application... the closing date is 9 June.
The judges are looking for exciting new products or projects which are challenging the norm and transforming publishing. If you have a new product or service that deserves recognition, then it's time to prepare your application. Applications are welcomed from any area of scholarly publishing.
The judges will draw up a list of finalists who will be showcased at the ALPSP Conference. The winners will then be announced at the Awards Dinner on Thursday 15 September (www.alpspconference.org). Who will be the winners in 2016?
Who can apply?
The awards are open to any new development, product or service which is innovative and of significant value to scholarly communication. This might be a new tool for researchers, a new resource for authors; a new journal, book or other form of publication; a new workflow or process; a new technology. It can relate to any part of the scholarly and professional publishing industry but the application must define clearly the benefit and advances it represents in its sector. The judges may make more than one award depending on the submissions received.
For further information on how to apply please see http://alpsp.org/ALPSP-Awards or contact me. The closing date for submissions is 9 June.
