Software QA Engineer - 35 hours per week
Salary £20,000 to £32,000 depending on experience
Based in Stirling, UK.

Due to recent structural changes and a growth in our market, we have reached a new and exciting stage in our business and product development and have an immediate requirement for a Software QA Engineer to join the team in Stirling.
As the primary Software QA Engineer for the Development Team, the successful person will be responsible for estimating, planning and co-ordinating all testing activities as well as ensuring that quality issues and defects are appropriate identified, documented, tracked and resolved.
The key duties of the role include:
Organise and execute effective and efficient testing to support quality controlled delivery of software solutions that meet business objectives.Work closely with Product Owners to ensure quality of delivered solutions.Work closely with ScrumMasters and development team members to communicate testing outcomes and ensure issues and defects are resolved.Show initiative and make time available to ensure general technical competencies and specialisations are kept up to date in line with industry developments.Define and participate in QA processes to validate all software development efforts including quality use cases.Lead the creation and execution of manual and automated test cases for functional, regression and end-to-end testing, including both back-end and front-end testing of entire system, subsystems and interfaces to other systems.Write and Execute automated test plans according to project schedule. Identify, report and track defect issues.Maintain test data, test cases and bug tracking systems.
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who has proven experience and knowledge of testing web applications, web services and APIs. You must have proven ability to plan, estimate and execute testing cycles and proven experience with some of the following technologies and practices: Python, JavaScript, Cucumber, Agile and Git.
