If you have a grid setup on your workstation (e.g. SGE) then all registration can be run in parallel.
Alternatively, if you have multiple cores of CPU, which is the case for most modern workstations, you can still parallelize the task by running everything in the text file .commands in FA/ folder (distribute them across multiple cores and you'll be saving time)

Hi,
I am running TBSS on 114 children and plan on using –n option for tbss_2_reg. However, this would take 5X114X114~45 days if run without any changes. I have seen on the message boards and in the UserGuide that parallel processing can be done using a batch system. Is there any other way to parallel process or shorten the time? Is it possible to split up the subjects into subgroups or is that not a good idea?
