Morning all,
I have been a member of this forum for a couple of years now but this is my first post and I am hoping to capitalise on all your collective knowledge.
I have been looking for information of the impact on airborne construction dust or similar on the indices of health, increased risk, etc of local residents (specifically the UK) but I am casting the net wider now. I have found some material related to risks to the worker, but I am struggling to find studies that specifically try to measure and quantify the risk to the local residents. I have found material related to bioaerosols.
Does anyone have any information on this or able to point me in the right direction? Are you a researcher working in this area? I may have an opportunity for you to work with a group of residents who face this potential risk, who may be prepared to allow you to take comprehensive baseline measurements of physiological and environmental parameters followed by serial measurements over a longer time frame in order to generate the evidence base if necessary. The facility has not yet started but it is at the planning committee stage and expected to go ahead. If you are interested, please contact me.
Best wishes,
Louise
