This is aimed at people in England. If you or anyone you know has tried to access support from their local authority please have a look at this survey.

The survey is being carried out on behalf of the Independent Living Strategy Group, which is chaired by Baroness Jane Campbell, and made up of a range of disabled individuals and disability organisations who have an interest in independent living. We conducted a similar survey last year and intend to keep monitoring people's experiences of the Care Act on an annual basis.
The survey will remain open for responses until the early Autumn (closing date yet to be determined) but we are presenting the emerging findings to our next meeting on 4th July when Alistair Burt, Minister for Communities and Social Care, will attend. So please help us to get as many responses as possible by June 24th.
Please circulate to anyone who might be interested. Thanks very much.
Jenny
