Thank you for all suggestions so far. I'm looking less for books about how children and their emotions, and more for books or resources about how to talk with children about adults who are struggling. Please keep any suggestions coming.
Best wishes
Penny

Hi Penny,
Margot Sunderland has written many childrens
books on various emotions/childrens struggles ..so you could
see which one is best for your situation. They are also
available in Amazon.
Hope that helps,
Angie

Hello
everyone
Can anyone recommend any good books for children which help
explain about mental health? I'm looking particularly
for books which are about parents who are struggling and how
they might want to try and explain that to their children.
Also, I would want to avoid anything that explains the
situation using a largely medical model, obviously!
Many thanks
Penny
