you could also deposit the actual data (aka frames) at
https://data.sbgrid.org/
This will provide you with an ID for the data that you can cite.
As far as I understand, you do need a publication before you can submit data,
but maybe if you explain the situation, the maintainers will find a different
solution. The data base only started recently, so chances are good that you
may be welcomed with quick support.
