Hi, everyone
Sam Warren and I have just agreed to edit a book series called the Palgrave Studies in Business, Arts, and Humanities:
Business, the arts, and humanities have much to learn from each other. Academic research has begun to explore these links in different ways, such as: investigations of organizational aesthetics, arts-based methods, creative industries and art as research. This series is the first of its kind to bring these streams together and provides a “go-to” resource on arts, humanities and business for emerging scholars and established academics alike. The series will include both theoretical and empirical enquiries that cross a variety of business topics, from creativity to leadership, innovation, strategy and complex problem solving. Volumes will engage different senses such as sight, scent, and sound as well as different art and humanistic modalities, such as music, theatre, the visual arts, dance, martial arts, traditional craft, and culinary arts.
I’ve attached a proposal form with the hopes that sum of you may be inspired. Both Sam and I are also happy to chat about ideas you have.
Regards,
Steve
