Dear Colleagues
Bookings are now open for Beyond the Border’s summer school of storytelling workshops, at St Donats Castle, Vale of Glamorgan, which run from Tuesday 28 to Thursday 30 June 2016.
The BtB Summer School offers a range of masterclasses and workshops aimed at storytellers of all levels and experience, with both full-board residential and non-residential packages available.
Course fees are £200 for the three days, including teas, coffees and lunch each day. Bed, breakfast & dinner is also available from £25 a night.
This year’s courses are:
From Shakespeare to Storytelling and back – a performance workshop with Paola Balbi and Michael Harvey. Designed for either beginner or advanced storytellers, the workshop will take the bard’s sources and plays and retell them for storytelling.
After Ovid – Transforming narrative fragments into story with Roger Hill. A course for anyone who is interested in story-development or has begun to adventure in sharing stories with others.
Bursaries available for under 30s. http://www.beyondtheborder.com/festival/summerschool/
Kind regards
Emily
